Adinkra are visual symbols created by the Akan people of Ghana, each encoding a concept, proverb or philosophical idea. Woven into cloth, stamped into walls and carved into architecture for centuries — they are one of the oldest design systems on earth.
At GMDESIGNSTUDIO, we believe these symbols belong on-chain. Not as decoration — as identity. Each NFT carries a meaning that pre-dates the blockchain by hundreds of years. That is not just art. That is cultural sovereignty.
